A Day Late And A Dollar Short

Ok I know I should have written about the VP debate before this but I've been busy with other things. Ok not really I just was lazy. That's better. Now my conscience is clear.
It was pretty much what I anticipated. No major gaffes (shucks!) and Palin was praised to the skies for not making an ass out of herself. I thought Biden did a great job and kept himself in check and went after McCain instead of the cute chick from up north. It behooves me, though, that people don't see how inept she is. How they can vote for McCain knowing that she may one day be president. That thought just sends an ucky chill up my spine.
The second presidential debate was, in my opinion, a repeat of the first one. Accusations flying, lies told...more bullshit. Supposedly McCain does extremely well in the town hall venue. Umm...what? To me he looked like an angry old man spewing and gnashing his teeth to keep inside the venomous words from within. Obama looked cool, calm and collected. He answered questions and was fluid. I kept thinking "Which one of these two guys would I want sitting at a table with other world leaders representing me and what I believe?" Hands down it was Obama.
And if my mind hadn't been made up before, it surely would have been after reading this:

It just confirmed so many things I felt about McCain. I wish that the Democrats would make these facts known. Oh that's right..they're taking the high road and sticking to the issues.
I have an idea for the third debate. They, the moderators from the past three debates, should pick 5 topics they want the candidates to speak on like the economy, the war, etc. The candidates have a half hour to talk on these subjects but with one rule. You cannot mention the name of the other candidate. I want them to sell themselves. Earn my vote. I know it's obvious who I'm going to vote for but I want these guys to get up there and tell the people why they should vote for them. Uninterruped information on what they plan on doing when they become president. But who am I to say?
Not much else going on. Just really into the election, as you can tell! I think the night of November 4th is going to be like Chirstmas Eve. I'm just hoping that, like all my Christmas mornings, I'm not disappointed.
